Dr. John Church is the Regional Innovation Chair (RIC) in Cattle Industry Sustainability at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. In 2005 the Real Estate Foundation of BC made an endowment grant towards the establishment of this RIC, one of a number that the Foundation has supported throughout the province.
In 2009 CITinfoResource editor hanspetermeyer interviewed TRU's Vice President of Research, Nancy Vanwagoner about the Cattle Industry Sustainability initiative. In this interview, Dr. John Church talks about the challenges facing the industry and the grasslands, and how TRU is helping to make a difference.
